I'm
like a ship out sailing in calm seas,
Sails up high touching a soft gentle breeze
When it seems like out of no where,
My hopes & dreams of not having a care,
Are smashed upon the rocks all around,
I tumble out of my ship and drown.
This must be the calm before the storm,
I've not trusted since the day I was born.
Will I ever be in that safe & secure place,
Where time and love will finally erase?
The scars & damage, where I was beaten &
battered,
Where my heart strings have been cut & tattered?
