It was
an early
start
Just as
the sun
peeked
o'er the
hill,
The day
began
before
we knew
Our
diary
was so
full.
First we
checked
in on
our Mum
And she
was
mighty
glad,
She had
a load
of love
to share
But now
she
doesn't
feel too
bad.
Then we
did the
rounds
to say
hello
To each
and
every
friend,
Not sure
if they
liked
our
visit
As we
sniffed
at every
pen.
You see,
the
chickens
they all
scattered
All the
cats are
such a
lark!
Oh,
there
was such
commotion
And all
we did
was
bark.
We found
some
flappy
things
Wagging
from a
whirling
line
Oh what
a tug to
bed them
down
That was
a
rewarding
time.
All day
we gave
it all
we've
got
Not shy
to share
God's
love at
all,
Everybody
is
special,
come
what may
So do
give us
a call.
We may
be fast
asleep
Exhausted
from the
hugging,
But,
sweet
are our
puppy
dreams
From a
day so
packed
with
loving.
