I have a friend so special
So genuine and true
Someone I trust with all my heart
Oh yes, that friend is you.

I know I've told you many times
I hope that you could see
Just how much I think of you
What your friendship means to me.

You're an angel of the morning
And an angel of the night
Whenever things go wrong for me
You are there to make them right.

By loving words or a kind deed
You give me with love in your heart
It isn't any wonder that
You were a friend from the start.

I knew the first time that we met
You were special in every way
I send this poem to you my friend
I want you to know today.

You are an angel sent by God
You have a loving touch
You are my very special friend
And I love you very much.
