Between Friends ~ Southbreeze ~ Living Each Day

When you are sad and need a friend,
Remember I'll always be there.
When your burdens seem too heavy,
I will help you to bear.

I may not have all the answers,
And may not have much to say.
But I will come along beside you,
On any needed day.

If you need to vent your anger,
Or even hurt with pain.
I'll have a sympathetic ear,
Until peace you regain.

I will pray with you down on our knees,
And to God hold you up.
Until you feel your burden ease,
I'll be your substitute and backup.

"Love your neighbor as yourself",
Is what Jesus tells us to do.
Please allow me to fulfill His law,
My dearest friend I love you!
