Love is kind and patient
This is true
I see this sort of love
My Friend, in you

Never is it jealous
Never is it proud
Boasting and rudeness
These things, not allowed

A supportive and loyal friend you are
Giving and sharing
I have always trusted you
With your honesty and caring

When love is the foundation
In the smallest of details
A friendship can last forever
Because love never fails
