There is someone so very sweet
So very dear and kind
Someone I put my trust in
It is a friend of mine.

Someone that likes me for myself
Don't have to be what I'm not
I prayed that I'd find such a friend
And that is what I got.

I've been to the top of the mountain
Where rainbows wash the sky
I've been in the deepest valley
Just watching my life pass by.

Now I have a special friend
To lean on when times are bad
Someone I can depend on
The best friend I ever had.

So thank you from the depth of my heart
For your thoughtfulness and love
I pray that God will bless you
As He watches from above.
