There are more things that we can do,
To brighten someone's day.
Many ways are there for us,
To help along the way.
Let's all start the day with prayer;
Ask our Father above.
To show which of His children,
We could shower with our love.
It may be someone close to us,
Or someone far away.
That needs to know that someone cares,
And is thinking of them today.
Trust our Father to bring to mind,
The friend whom our thoughts to send.
He is waiting to be a part of
The love we will extend.
I now reach out to YOU! my friend
You're the first on my list today.
I want to say I love you
In a very special way.
