Today I smiled and you know what?
Things didn't look so bad
Today I shared with others
A lot of hope I had.

Today I hummed a little song
My heart felt oh so light
I walked a happy little mile
And not one cloud in sight.

Today I worked with what I had
And never looked for more
What had seemed like sea weeds
Were flowers at my front door.

Today I loved even more
Complained a whole lot less
And by giving of myself,
I forgot about my stress.

I feel so much better
If you try it you will too
Happiness and contentment
Will surely come to you.
