Temperatures drop
below freezing
The air is so crisp and clear
Your breath creates foggy shapes
Then like magic they disappear
Diamonds sparkle in the snow
Like a thousand miniature lights
Reflecting the sun during the day
And the moon on cloudless nights
So many fun activities to enjoy
Ice skating or a snowball fight
Skiing down a snowy mountain side
Holiday parties to attend at night
Children bundled up for warmth
Making snow angels everywhere
Cheeks blushed pink from the cold
The sound of their laughter in the air
The pleasure of sipping hot chocolate
A roaring fire to keep you warm
Content to be snuggled up inside
Safe from any nasty, winter storm
Now, if you hate the winter months
And dread each cold, frosty day
Try to see the winter wonderland
And remember the cold won’t stay
