When we feel that God has forgotten
And our friends just disappear
Our life seems so uncertain
And our future only holds fear.

That's when I need you Heavenly Father
Please strengthen my faith in thee
Help me from this deepest valley
So the sunlight I may see.

Take my burden and my worry
My stress and all my pain
Take the dark clouds from the sky
Give me sunshine and not the rain.

Bless my precious loved ones
Wrap them in your loving care
Give me peace dear Lord in my heart and mind
For I know you are always there.

Wipe the tears that keep flowing
Depression covets me
Lay your gentle hands on my heart
Help me to follow thee.
