When the storm clouds gather
And things aren't looking good
It's time to turn things over
When we've done all that we could

A day can bring us sunshine
Or sorrow we can't bear
But take heart, keep looking upward
And you'll find sweet comfort there

His loving arms will hold you
And carry you each step
When we've done all that we can do
There's one who'll do the rest

This night my thoughts are lingering
In places dark and deep
My heart was sorely shaken
But He brought to me His peace

So if the way gets rugged
And it seems you'll lose the race
Remember He will be right there
If you only keep the faith
