Not Alone ~ Brenda Conley ~ Living Each Day

Gazing upon the vast horizon
Admiring...God's glorious sunrise
I held a brand new day
Right before my eyes

Not knowing what awaits me
Or where my path will end
Yet, my Lord is right here by my side
For He is my Guide, my Protector
My always closest Friend

I know with all my heart
I do not walk this path...alone
For every second...with Him I share
In each moment I live and breathe
It is He...that is always standing there

If today I reach a fork of uncertainty
Upon this journey I travel so fair
His loving hands will guide me
With a graciousness beyond compare

When I reach my journeys end
As I gaze toward the skies above
Standing there, I know
I am not alone
For I'll thank Him once again
For all His guidance, love and care
Praising Him for always being there.
