To believe is to rise upon each new day
With hope in the truth that love has a way
To believe is to know that tomorrow is true
For Jesus has promised He loves me and you
 
To believe is to trust in all that's unseen
To believe God is there and always will be
To believe is to trust that He has a plan
And all is controlled by the touch of His hand

To believe is to rest for the victory is won
In God there is hope, the work is all done
To believe is to know that life never ends
In Jesus it's true, we can be His friends

To believe is to give our heart to another
The giving of joy to a sister or brother
To believe is to know the song that we sing
Will always be heard by the heart of the King
