Life began just as we dream
In a garden full of love
Where the beauty overflowed
T'was loveliness enough

The innocence of life
No sadness interfered
Sweetness flowed among the daisies
With nothing yet to fear

But the choice of choosing
Never ending dreams
The wanting for some more
Than the way it's always been

The gift of other options
Adventure loomed ahead
Now came much discovery
To see if promises were meant

And only by experiment
To find out what is true
Are we put inside life's garden
To really think it through

And if we want the everlasting
The source of all we need
Then we ask the Master Gardener
So we can be made free

Free of all the struggle
Of deciding what to know
When the Gardener is invited
All His wondrous love to show

Then what fun among the flowers
Complete enjoyment to the max
Content to be together
In the most perfect garden patch

Life began within a garden
And in a garden never ends
