So Beary Comfy ~ Derry's Heart Poems ~ Living Each Day

I am sitting here just thinking
You might need a little treat,
A beary comfy rest
Because you're very sweet.

Can you find yourself a favourite nook
Tucked somewhere from the wind,
Where love will warm you through
All over, deep within.

Do choose a favourite book
And lay back in sheer delight,
Then close your eyes, relax
Shut out the glaring light.

I'll bring you drink and cookies soon
Once you have slept awhile
Dream sweet things, delightful sighs
To wake you with a smile.

Snuggle safe with Jesus near
As tender thoughts I send,
Oh, I wish that I might perch nearby
My beary treasured friend.
