Chapters there on Happiness
On Sorrow, and on Dread

Many paragraphs of your youth
That went so very quick
Flashing right before your eyes
Just like a magic trick

If I could have the chance
To read between the lines
I'd change so many things
Some that weren't so kind

I'd love my family more
And show it every day
And to our precious God
I would often pray

It's not too late to edit
This story that you write
Because God is the critic
Who shines that guiding light

His leadership will steer you
Just where you need to be
He will never fail you
On that Stormy Sea

He is the Captain of our ship
Though it's sometimes tossed around
God is there to guide you
To a stable sacred ground.
