And shall we be thus grounded
With feet upon the earth,
Shall breath now, ever hold us
And keep us from new birth.
Might ways we've known e'er tie us
To limit us within,
And keep us ever burdened
By how life's always been.
Could draw of outer things
Become the greatest love,
To keep us from the in-depth miracle
And stay the flight above.
A butterfly cocooned within
There viewed, how life is made,
The need of secret death
To burst with awesome change.
No wing on high be ever found
Remaining as we are,
To die is life, abundant flight
When God transforms the heart.
OH, change, bring of thy grandeur, gift
And age, your great content,
When one's own metamorphosis
By God's own hand is sent.

"If nothing ever changed,
there'd be no butterflies."
But we have this treasure in jars of clay to
show
that this all-surpassing power is from God and
not from us
For we who are alive are always being given over
to death for Jesus' sake, so that his life may
be revealed in our body.
...because we know that the one who raised the
Lord Jesus
from the dead will also raise us with Jesus and
present us...in His presence.
Therefore do not lose heart. Though outwardly we
are wasting away,
yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.
For our light and momentary troubles are
achieving for us
an external glory that far outweighs them all.
So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on
what is unseen.
For what is seen is temporary, but what is
unseen is eternal.
II Corinthians 4:7, 11, 14, 16-18
