Give Thanks ~ Marie Williams ~ Living Each Day

Give thanks to God for home and hearth,
For abundant fields of grain...
For sun that shines upon our face,
And clouds of gentle rain.

For children's laughter in the air,
For innocence so sweet.
To see their restful face at night,
As peacefully they sleep.

Give thanks to God with joyful heart,
For gifts of health renewed;
For power of His promises,
For tables filled with food.

For friends and family dear to us,
We give our thanks to Him.
Thank Him for His anointed Word,
To free a world condemned.

Give thanks for Jesus Christ our Lord,
Who freely shed His blood...
Upon the Cross of Calvary...
Give thanks for His great love.
