A day for us to show our love
To those we hold most dear

Please don't be afraid to ask
People to be your Valentine
You simply offer to be theirs
And ask "Will you be mine?"

It may be the love of your life
A family member you adore
A loyal and treasured friend
Feel free to have one or more

Send pretty flowers or candy
Go out on a romantic date
Write a poem or send a card
So many ways to celebrate

Take the time and the chance
To spread some love around
In giving something of yourself
A piece of heaven can be found
