Angie, beautiful angel of light,
You left like a whisper in the night.
You lived before us a godly life,
Soon you would be my sons new wife.
You gave him more than you'll ever know,
It's because of you I've seen him grow.
He blossomed beneath your wings of love,
You were his angel sent from Heaven above.
I'm thankful for the time he had with you,
I know that you touched many others too.
So Lord, take my words never spoken out loud,
Deliver them to Angie on a beautiful cloud.
Tell her I am sorry she had to go,
That I love her and I will miss her so.
God watch over our angel of light,
Who left like a whisper in the night.
