Friendship, like a fragile flower
Starting from one mere seed
In wait of care and kindness
So its beauty may proceed.

All flowers so very different
Some refusing to concede
As they stand ever sturdy
Others die because of need.

So relying upon ones effort
Many growing weak and frail
All because the lack of care
Vibrant colors quickly pale.

Withering so without nurture
Ever tender they must receive
Daily encouragement and love
From you, they so greatly need.

But with droplets of love so pure
And kindness from you bestowed
Watch slowly, transformation begin
And the wonders, soon you'll know.

So tend to your precious flowers,
Upon them, let love always shine
As you shower them with kindness
The deeper the friendship shall bind.
