Friends are very special
Side by side or miles apart
You're the best friend that I know
And one close to my heart.

Every day I think of you
And wonder how you are
So close in love and friendship
Yet in miles so very far.

We send our emails daily
Have a conversation or two
And I know for certain
I have a friend in you.

When I think of you dear one
Friendship so elegant and true
That's why I send these words today
To my special friend  YOU!
