BE GRATEFUL FOR THE DAY

Have you ever followed a rainbow, trying to find the ends
Or watched a bird in flight, how graceful they turn the bends

Maybe watched the rain as it slowly approached where you were
...and smelled the fresh clean air, the scent so very pure

View the unfolding of early morning, the dew still on the leaves,
The first of morning's newness as you feel that gentle breeze

It is a miracle to behold, as you see the brand new day
The flowers in all their brilliance will have a grand array

Or even watching the sun rise over a hill yonder way
It slowly rises, pushing fog and clouds, and ready for the day

The miracles that God has given to us that daily we may see
...can fill our hearts with His love, for this He has given gladly

Take time to smell His roses, rejoice in the miracles He has given
...let your mind flow with the wind, through the air in perfect rhythm

Another day the blessed Lord has given for us to savor
In each of our daily walks, dear Lord, let not our faith waver.
