Oh gleaming, kindly bath I love so well
How soothing is your depth of water warm.
Within your sweet confinement lies my form
Each night that I with joy therein do dwell.

How I do love the bathing of my toes
Soaked deep within the whitness of your walls
Your waters warm my shoulders like wide shawls
That wrap my being right up to my nose.

My dear so necessary, treasured treat
Without you oh how cold would be my feet.
If I were somehow faced with losing you,
I cannot bear to think what I would do.
My source of sweet ablution so divine,
I do give thanks for you, oh bathtub mine.
