You are like a present
on a special day.
You are like sunshine
When the clouds are gray.

When I need you ~
you are always there.
We talk about life and
you always seem to care.

Your laughter is such
music to my ears.
When I'm sad you
help me dry my tears.

We are so much alike.
We sing the same songs.
Our bond of friendship
Continues to grow strong.

You came into my life
when I needed a friend.
I pray we'll be together
until the very end.

We are open with each other
We feel a need to share.
I just want to let you know
just how much I care.
