Sometimes when we stray from God's path,
We stumble along the way.
We can't seem to follow His footsteps,
Just wander all the day.

Life seems to whirl out of control,
Everything just goes wrong.
The path to the mountain top,
Takes oh so very long.

So in the valley we roam and,
Try paths that are unknown.
As our God watches from above,
He knows the path is wrong.

If we seek Him He'll show the way,
His presence is always near.
He'll give us comfort and strength,
And take away all fear.

He'll take us places we've not been,
What glorious things we'll see!
He'll help us reach that mountaintop,
If we fall upon our knee.
