You are the light and all that is good
You're what we aspire to be if we could.
A friend who knows the right things to say
To help us get through another day.
You try to point us to the light
Bringing calm in the day and peace at night.
You seem to hold the light in your hand
And you never assume, you just understand.
The calm in the storm,
smoothing out the rough sea
You'll never know what you mean to me.
You are the light that glows with love
A hidden angel sent from above.
