Autumn wind calls through the night
As crimson leaves take their flight
They're twirling, swirling, drawing near
Whispering softly, "autumn's here."
Golden pumpkins in the fields
Inviting all to pick at will.
Nuts and apples gathered in.
Abundant harvest fills the bin.
Autumn's beauty fills the earth
May I but treasure all her worth
For every moment of the day
Give thanks in all I do, and say.
And when this time of harvest ends
Another season soon begins.
We'll gather 'round the dancing flames
To dream of autumn, once again.
